SHIPPING POLICY
Summer Season Update: We strive to provide our customers with the very best service by fulfilling and shipping all orders in a timely manner; however, there may be delays which our beyond our control due to extended transit times with our parcel service. We exclusively use FedEx Ground for all of our shipping.
Due to the perishable nature of our product, we closely monitor the weather not only in our location but also in your package’s destination. This is to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition, cool and un-melted. Consequently, we may (at our discretion) elect to delay the shipment of an order dependent upon the hot weather patterns so that we can ensure your order travels in the best possible conditions and arrives fully intact.
As a result, please plan to place your orders accordingly to avoid any shipping delays. During warm weather months we ship Monday – Wednesday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. All orders will be processed and shipped as soon as possible, within 3-5 business days. During high volume seasons the estimated ship times may take a few extra days to process. We do not ship Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays.
Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. You must provide a physical street address for your order. Be sure to include appropriate suite or apartment numbers when necessary to ensure proper delivery.
We ship exclusively with FedEx and transit times vary depending on the destination.
FREE SHIPPING OFFER
We are happy to offer Free Shipping for orders $200 and above. Our Free Shipping offer is only valid per one shipping address. Therefore, each order per shipping address must reach $200 or above to qualify for our free shipping.
TEMPERATURE
We take special care of your chocolates being shipped to areas with temperatures above 68 degrees by carefully packing them with reusable ice packs in a box lined with insulated materials. Dependent on temperatures, transit times, and destination, we may only be able to ship on Thursdays & Fridays between the months of November and February.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Colebrook Chocolate Co. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address provided for an order. Upon inquiry, Colebrook Chocolate Co. will confirm delivery to the provided address, date of delivery, and tracking information. We will provide this to the customer to investigate and file a claim with the carrier.
INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION
During the fulfillment process, we do our best to contact you if we happen to come across an “undeliverable address.” An “undeliverable address” is defined as one that is not recognized by the FedEx shipping system, and therefore would not be delivered. Colebrook Chocolate Co. is not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided by the customer. As a result, if an undeliverable address or inaccurate shipping information is provided, Colebrook Chocolate is not responsible for the unreceived items.
